Design Theme

Gio Coso is a Project designed for The National Park Riserva MAB by Campo Base Girotondo, aim to let people more involved to the nature without disturbing. It includes the installations inside woods, tourist interaction guide book, local permaculture research, poem collection and workshop activities.

As we become increasingly absorbed by our frenetic lives, we feel detached from the real essence that living on the Planet Earth means. The genuine connection between human and Nature seems to be fading away, while we place us more and more in the foreground, leaving our Host aside. Often, we don’t even try to embrace Nature itself, we don’t observe what’s around us, resulting in a society that feels fragmented lacking a sense of unity. Rediscovering and reconnecting with our Host and slowing our lifestyles is crucial for the co-living of and collaboration between human and Nature.
